BNY's New Long Island Harbors Ride

Sunday, June 29, 2008
Start/Finish: Brentwood, NY

Explore Long Island's famed North Shore on the inaugural Long Island Harbors Ride. The ride begins and ends at Suffolk County Community College and heads north to various harbors.
  • Four mileage choices, from 26 to 100 miles, plus two instructor-led educational group rides designed for children, families, and less-experienced cyclists
  • Scenic routes past harbors and mansions
  • Well-marked routes, well-stocked rest areas, full SAG support
  • Free souvenir

At the end of the ride, everyone returns to Brentwood to catch some music or light food at the post-ride festival and pick up the ride T-shirt.

If you're not already signed up, you'll have to wait until next year. The ride is full at 1,500 riders. We didn't think we'd reach this number for this first-time event, and we regret having to close people out.
